While the main activity of Solas is to suport the development of community based schools and to promote science and health education we are also involved in other areas related to overseas development.

We are members of NIDOS the Network of International Development Organisations in Scotland.

We are also members of the International Development Group of the Scottish Parliament and participate in the Institute of Fundraisers Special Interest Group for overseas development organisations.
