Al Nasir Community Based School was founded on May 1st 1998 by Nasir Abad Multipurpose and Co-operative Society  and people of Tehsil Lotkoh  with support from Aga Khan Education Service(P) Chitral. It was founded as an English medium school to provide quality education in this remote and far flung corner of Pakistan.
Al Nasir Community Based school Garamchashma is registered with educational department, affiliated to the Board Intermediate & Secondary Education Peshawar and recognized  as a registered participating institution as Community Based school with Aga khan Education Service, Pakistan.
Al Nasir CBS is an non- profit making community Based School managed by a Board of Governors. The School is co-educated and accepts children from age five. Secondary science class has been started from March 2006 and there are currently 15 teachers. The school is self supporting in terms of day-to–day running cost. The School has its own building with a sufficient number of classrooms up to matriculation level.
