Pamir Educational Society was established in December l3th, 1991 in order to help the community of District to provide quality education to the young generations in the region. This society consists of 53 members, a president, general secretary and executive body called Board of Governors.

(B.O.G) Consists of 15 members. PES members elect this body for one year. BOG has a chairman and a general secretary. The General secretary is the principal of the school.The school has a well-furnished library consisting three thousands books on science, Philosophy, history, literature, religion and other topics. School has also a laboratory and computer lab consisting six computers.

The students of this school have shown brilliant position in the various competitive examinations. They have been able to get admission in famous educational institutions in cities.

The school now has over 400 students and is progressing well. Over the years Solas has provided funding for land purchase, computers and washrooms. The funds we sent some time ago for a toilet block are being kept until they have sufficient funding to start building the new blocks.

 

SOLAS has supported the school with the purchase of land and computers.
