The school has been in existence for 11 years and would seem to be sustainable. It now has a water supply piped to it.

The main concern that the school has it to start classes 9 and 10 (Matric). The children are being taught using Oxford English books up to class 8 but if the children then go to a government school for classes 9 & 10 they do not do very well as it is in Urdu medium. The only other alternative at the moment is to send the children to Chitral which is expensive and not good for the family.
To bring the school to Matric level they need extra buildings/rooms and a toilet block. They have been told by the authorities that if there was a toilet block and an extra room they would be allowed to register at Matric level.

On visiting the school it seemed that the level of teaching was good. Two children did a presentation in English, one of which was a plea for the toilet block. The teaching methods include written pieces of work, which are marked and taken home for the parents to countersign.
