Established in August 1997 in the initial stage 11 students were admitted in class 9 and the next year 35 students took admission in the same class. After three years, due to the outstanding performance, the school was promoted to a Community Based Higher Secondary School (CBHSS) Morder which is one of the well reputed schools in Chitral. The school has both science and arts classes. The School has a grand building containing 4 rooms which has been built with self help by the community itself.

There is a small amount of Rs.200 charged from the students of class 9th and 10th as a tuition fee. However, science students have to pay an extra Rs.100 in the higher secondary classes. There are over all 48 students in the Higher Secondary School. Every year this number increases. Students from all over Chitral are admitted in the Higher Secondary portion of the school.

To run the affairs of the school, there is an educational society consisting of 42 members. It came into existence in 1997 first time and was re-organized in 1999. Its main function is to provide financial support to the institution whenever it needs. Its meeting is held once in a year and the members are informed about the over all performance of the school. The school has a Board of Governors (BoG). It has 12 members including a Chairman. They are chosen for a year. Its function is to collect donations, supervise the school’s management including hostel affairs, provide all the basic requirements to the school , maintain fee collection and to seek donors so that the school could have access, sustainability and quality education.
